Kitty, one of the members of our tour group, found this dog idol while she was walking along the road up toward the Israelite fortress. We later found out that the excavators had dumped a lot of fill along those roads from other parts of the site and that they had already found numerous samples that actually had heads and tails. We turned the artifact in to the IAA, and we hope that they decide to send it to Kitty, especially since they have so many already.
